The del mar collection

Del Mar can mean “of the sea” and this series is meant to exhibit the power and beauty of the sea. I’ve painted this series in gouache, which is a water soluble, non toxic paint. The surface of gouache dries matte, so it’s been an edifying challenge to depict liquid with a matte paint. I love the sea, and I hope that love is palpable in this series.
