A bit about the artist…

I’ve been painting since I was a child, and sold my first work at age 14. I’ve always been enamored with vibrant, saturated colors, and I use as many of them in my paintings as I can. Painting in acrylics and watercolor allows me to work quickly, conveying texture and feeling.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Art History and a minor in Studio Art from Randolph College. I’ve worked in museums, and the experience of being around great art everyday has informed my practice.

My inspirations are many: the sea, nautical history, Ancient Egypt, the lives of the Saints, to name a few. I’m grateful that I get to create art every day, and I am grateful to have you here.
